No more snow in the avatar! Here's my bonfire from the 1000th meetup event on Jan 7th. I burned over 80 pallets and a heck of a lot of cut and split hardwood.

There's something magical and even primeval about a good fire. Doesn't even have to be a big one. I also enjoy a small fire, especially one with a good bed of white hot coals with a big chunk of solid wood on top, where the flames kind of lick up around the sides of it, dancing and hypnotic.
