I have been in two failed relationships, had two kids out of wedlock. Both of them are with there dads family. They stepped all over me and made me feel like dirt. Never married me were abusive. All I wanted was my kids. I am going to have to start again. I'm never dating again. I will never get married. I will never force myself on a guy thinking he loves me when he doesn't. I have really messed up my life. But I am free now I hope. I hope my ex bf leaves my apt. Then I will really be free. Just wanted to vent. I'm going to sleep bc its 3 am

All of us have made mistakes and will continue to make some mistakes. Doesn't mean you're a bad person. And helps me to focus on making better choices that help me go forward not worrying about what I'm feeling. It builds confidence that I am not stopped by my feelings or by the past. Thank you guys. I don't know if I'm seeing things right. I don't know if they were abusive or not. It might be me with the problem I need to see my therapist. Sorry guys.

Therapy is always good and helpful to get
A clear picture of whats been going on. I
Married basically what i knew so yes i
needed Help to fix me.

We need to heal so we dont go back Out
and be a magnet for the unhealthy bad

Hello Braveredhead, It sounds like you've bottomed out, but also that you're being honest with yourself and ready to start climbing. I've been there too. And you're right - sex out of marriage is always dicey, and often leaves kids in a tough situation, and usually one person or another is left "hoding the bag". Most of us aren't wired to always make wise decisions, especially if you weren't taught how to do that.
