There is always contraception to prevent unwanted pregnancies. Reversing a vasectomy is not always a successful procedure. In your place I'd wait, unless you are totally convinced you don't want any more children.

U must be sure u do not want anymore children. If u dont want anymore children then meet someone one day that does not ether.

I got one when I was married, 3 months after my son was born. There is no other woman on the planet I want to have kids with. So it's a no brainer for me.

I have 2, (kids) and want no more. Reverse surgery is intense, figure out what YOU want. If it's contigent, she probably isn't worth it anyway.

You're still pretty young and might decide you want to have a kid with someone else. Maybe you should wait.

the question shoudl be.. do you want more children? if you dont want more children then get it. you shouldnt be having children with some woman because she wants it, you both should want a child, not just one of you, and if you are done then you are done. i had mine and glad i did.

I am a mother of 5, planned on having a tubal ligation after the birth of my 5th daughter, due to insurance issues, they informed me the day i was to have the surgery, that it wouldnt be covered. So, needless to say, i didnt go through with it. My STBX had a vasectomy...i feel that if i ever meet another man who truly loves me and would want to have a child, i would no doubt be ready to do so...i think that's why i didnt have my tubal. That there was a bigger plan for me. If you have any question in your mind, then i would say that is your answer. You dont HAVE to have another child, but if you take that option away..then there you are...plus...its much more expensive and PAINFUL from what i've been told, to reverse it...hope you can find the decision that is right for your situation.

And JoeTex, I agree with the others. You need to decide on whether you want other kids or not. If you're not sure, then wait.

i went and saw the vet an hour after my wife was preg. with our 3rd. I knew that i was finished. FOREVER. so really its something that you need to figure out.
