11 years of horrible Valentines days with a guy who has some sort of passive aggressive issue with giving, period. Two that stand out; I use to work in the warehouse and he was a computer geek in the office, (by the way, don't date ppl you work with, it always ends bad) came to work Valentines day and found a small box of chocolates on my desk with a whinny the poo valentine cared, kind of off the kids wrack. I've dated him long enough to be thankful he did anything at all, he always says he can't stand to spend money on holidays. So feeling blessed, I take may good fortune in to show the girls in the office, and what do I see on every one of their desks. The exact same box of chocolates and a whinny the poo card. Yep, I wasn't going to get to be special that one either.

My favorite one though was a few years later. I'm now working in the office. He knows all the women in the office are going to get flowers delivered all day and I'm not. He is worried about how that will look, so he sends me an e/m saying I've tried and tried but I cannot press the mouse button and waste that kind of money, so when the other girls ask where your flowers are, just tell them we are taking a long weekend together and will celebrate then. I hadn't expected flowers from him, I know the gig, but I didn't expect an e/m telling me I wasn't worth flowers. So I e/m him back and told him not to worry about what the other ladies thought because I just went ahead and forwarded his e/m to them and now they all know.
