I didn't plan it....but I'll be in class

there are no answers unfortunately. this stretch of the year is the worst. if you start from thanksgiving, xmas, new years and vday. its just aweful time of year if you are alone. especially going out or somewhere and seeing couples together all over the place, just makes me feel worse and makes me not even wana go out.

UPand ATem, I have my ups and downs and today is an up, where as yesterday I was SO low. I know how you feel.

My roommate is going to be in court for mediation. Irony....

I totally agree with you Derek. I'm just trying to think ahead to prevent my falls before they happen. It actually feels good to finally take control of the situation, starting with my initiation of NC 2 days ago. I just hope the good feelings stay for a while. Maybe I can take the kids hiking if the weather permits.....

I'm trying not to contact her except on holidays/times id call otherfriends. The problem is her birthday is a week before Valentines Day. I'm thinking a happy birthday message would be better than a valentines day message and both would be overkill. Am I. Right?

Valentine's Day! It is a hard day but you should look up events in your area where they have Valentine's Day for SINGLES. I attended my first event last year because it was my first Valentine's since my divorce and it cheered me up to participate in an event where we basically said "screw this"

In order to enter the event in my hometown we had to bring a picture or a gift that our ex's gave us and literally put it in a shredder while everyone cheered you on. I guess even though I still had a broken heart at the end of the day it helped spending time with people in my situation instead of staying home thinking about how lonely I was.

I've got jury duty on valentines day. Strange, huh?

Going out sounds healthy...

No Plans here..

Though I may get on a plane and fly somewhere in georgia

Valentine's Day is going to be tough for me because the 12th is or would be our 19th anniversary.....I am not looking forward to it all....

I HATE valentines day....always have, always will.

I believe we shouldnt have a stupid consumerism/commercial holiday to tell people we love them..regardless of what kind of love it is.

Blech.

We should show and tell people we love them all of the time.

I do have to laugh at the history behind it though....secret marriages for soldiers who were ordered NOT to marry.
