Breakups & Divorce Support Group
Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.
You know her better than anyone. What is it that she needs right now? Is it space? Is it a loving (rather than prodding) message? The mind and heart of a woman is a complicated thing. She must be hurting. How did you win her in the first place? Was something lost that can be recaptured? Think about these things. Love moves mountains. Anger creates distance.
Breathe in some peace and breathe out the anger. Try to do some meditating to calm your mind. The anger is not going to help you or help your situation. It will only eat away at you.
Find a prayer or something to repeat over and over like a mantra. Maybe the serenity prayer
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
the strength to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference.
My prayers are with you.
All you can do is give her the space she wants but somehow let her know you want to see your kids. Pick them up in neutral ground if it's easier for you two.
Tried couples counseling? Good luck to you and thanks for your service :)
