I think it is important to evaluate WHY you want to be with someone who cheated.
Let's pretend he never actually had sex with her. He STILL committee emotional infidelity and continued to do it for years.
You are miserable with him and you are miserable without him, but the most valued asset when you are not wth him is your freedom.
I stayed with someone who was a cheater and he continued to do this to me even when he didn't have sex with other women. There was always some " friend".
You deserve better. Maybe you haven't said everything you needed to say to him.
I think therapy helps when you " click" with the right therapist.

Just remember that, you were so young when you started ( i don't know how old you are now.) But
as you age your needs change. It's not your fault. You are doing the best you can.
