Basnime I'm sorry your husband sounds like he abandoned the kids as well. But you need to power through it for your kids - they need you more than ever. My kids are younger and don't understand but when I am crying they just give me hugs and kisses and tell me everything will be ok and it makes the world of difference.
basnime, just because you feel rejection from one person, don't let that taint your view on yourself. He's obviously the one with the problem, and when you're ready, you'll be bale to find happiness. Maybe it will be alone at first, or maybe it will be alone for a while, but you just need to keep in mind that those kids need you, and just because you don't have someone by your side at the moment, it doesn't make you any less of a person, or any less of a mom to those children. I guarantee you they still look up to you every bit as much, if not more. It's their dad that will be feeling their scorn, and rightfully so. Hang in there.
Be strong from them so that they become strong men. You have an opportunity to teach them how to be the best fathers they can be by demonstrating your love in caring from them, even when you don’t feel like it. Love is something you do, it is not something you feel. And caring for them will fill you with the ultimate joy.
