Why is it that the bad, toxic relationships are the hardest to let go? I feel like I'm going crazy.
I was with a woman who transitioned into a man for about 2 years. We went through a lot together and I enjoyed a lot about him. I'm trying not to glorify memories because there were a lot of issues too. He had issues with maturity, smoking a lot of pot, and he was crazy touchy because of the change in his hormones. We fought a lot, over stupid things. I guess this ended up being too much for him and he left me. The really painful part is that he left for another woman he knew I didn't care for.
I know I'm better off without his baggage and drama... But it just hurts so much. I struggle with relationships. I seem to find the wrong people and fall hard only to be wrecked later...
Anyone have any good coping strategies? I'm trying to cut him out of my life... but I'm starting to worry... Just yesterday I made a fake account to spy on his Instagram and talk to him as if I were a stranger... bonkers...
