Same....but just for a year...he left 4 weeks ago. It's midlife crisis......textbook midlife...except as far as I know, he hasn't been talking to other women.

Yeah midlife crisis is what I thought too as this year he turns 40 and the women stuff not too positive I think he may text and stuff but not sure he sees others it's just a mess I'm like so devistated but I know after all I've been through I need to let go

And when the timing is right and the right
One comes along they are out of there.

Less than And often they have tons of resentments
And they are Often selfish and they have issues.

To me cheating in their heart is cheating and
Often they have a hard heart toward their spouse
And no desire to work on the marriage

I call sexting texting and flirting with women online
addict behaviors. If they don't respect you they don't
love you, If they respected you they wouldn't cheat.

One thing I would possibly check out with the daily personality changes, does he have a medical condition that can be causing that, medications, a tumor, or is there a possibility of Drug usage? Just a thought, otherwise yes it sounds like he might be going thru his Mid-Life Crisis. But you are right you do deserve better, No person deserves to have their spouse or SO cheat on them!!!

No medical condition other than diabeties, all this started about 6 months after his dad left his mother after 40 plus years of marriage. So now he's decided it won't work but wants to stay at home until we figure out the financial part and he can afford to get a new place... I feel like I'm stuck because I'm in school and my current job does not pay too great sooo I feel I have to deal with it so that he won't get upset and help... since half the stuff is in his name too he does not want to ruin credit. It's just very hard looking at him everyday he acts like nothing has changed it's very hard!

Mid life crisis. My stbx turn 40 and decided she needed to have fun. That fun included sleeping with strange men. Once I found out, I served her divorce papers. She slowly became distant from me to the point of almost no communication. I was catching her in lies about where she was what she was doing. She was becoming very abusive financially and verbally. She actually yelled at me and made me feel stupid for finding a pair of men's underware in our bedroom. They were not my sons or mine. The person I loved so much now hates me and I don't know why. These changes I started to notice near the end of 2015. That's likely the time she checked out. All I know is the pain is real. I'm sorry you have to be going through this. It is going to be tough but you need to look after yourself. Time will heal
