that is the question. My ex-bf plead guilty week before last and they are currently doing a pre-sentence investigation (no clue what that entails). Probably my niece and I and maybe even the rest of the family are going to have to write statements about the impact that this has had on us. I have been thinking a lot about this since then and my question is whether or not I should go to his sentencing when they have it.
Part of me thinks it would provide closure and finality but then again I'm not sure if it would be a good idea. That's where all you wonderful people come in. What do you think? What are your opinions? I appreciate the different points of view and think it can really help me figure things out.
