Ok that was lame I was trying to be witty but as usual I left my brain on the bathroom counter while dressing today.

Adding my welcome to yours. What Rman says is so true. Some of us have been here so long, have met in person, and have forged inside friendships and jokes that newcomers will not get. Jump in, and let us help you. As with any forum, take what you need, and let the rest settle to the bottom of the pond where it belongs.

Has there ever been a single person post ever? Like the only person to post to the thread was one person? I am going to try.

For me I never thought I would be at DS talking to other people about my ex husband. I have to say it does help me and try not to say the wrong thing to him. I am hurting but by came here and talking it help me a little everyday. I want to show him I am a stronger woman and nothing he does will hurt me.

When I first arrived, it was confusing. The people who 'nab' numbers didn't make sense to me and the series of parenthesis (hugs) were confusing as well. Maybe someone should write an FAQ or have an Ombudsman on hand?

What he left out is that the DS'ers here are at different stages of healing and some are healed, just sticking around to help. So, if you don't understand how in the hell they can be jokeing around like that, well, we are a little further down the road than you are at this point.
People do heal in time and you'll catch up with the rest of the "big kids" soon enough.
So hurry the fuck up!!! Ain't got all day you know. God; The lil one's are so slow... lol

I really don't know if this site helps me or not. I like reading the threads, an I'll occasionally contribute, but as far as finding friendship here, I don't know. There does seem to be a big click of people who know each other, which I feel makes others feel left out or lost on a thread. (especially if you read the first few things on a long thread and jump to the end - I'm like - how did it get from that to this?? )- So I end up going back and reading them all - and then sometimes it makes sense :-)

But I'll continue to read and post as I see fit for me. That's all I have to say right now. Everybody take care. - And Be nice to each other. - sometimes sarcasm doesn't work well while texting.
