I had a gf come back once that dumped me..it lasted less than 24 hours lol..I just couldn't get over the hurt she put me through, I had already worked through the breakup and had been dating others. I'm much older now and would never ever take someone back that dumped me for someone else. Nooooo wayyyy

Maybe post on the infidelity board I find lots of help there. It's possible if she is truly remorseful of wgat she did and how she hurt you and if she breaks everything off with him and if she goes in therapy. If any of those are not happening than keep ur dignity and continue the divorce as she would either continue the affair or start a new one at some point. Wish you the best

I think it comes down to do you still love her and can you forgive her if the answer is no move on but if the answer is yes get her home an talk
Total honest communication has to be had if you love her enough
She may end up hurting you again but it's up to you to decide if you want to try again

I took my him back and it lasted a few months and he was in bed with my neighbor...then we went to therapy...well i did, he went once. Even therapist said run. I stayed 7 months later & 2 more transgressions that i found out about later and same thing....stayed another 18 months more indebit and not sp clueless that the mistrust and his odd behavior blew up & its over papers signed no seperation totally illegally divorced-he pulled favors & im smart-i had our 2nd HUD utilities in my name -house i was remodeling to rent out so it looked like we were living seperate for over 6 months.....no u never trust them again especially if they refuse to go to church or councilling or do things with u in public and NO i am not a dog....i look darn good for my age thank you-he was just a hunk of a man....he had to have everyones attention & apparently got it....taking him back 3 times didnt solve the problems and this last time he ended it....i coukd of been silent and just lived with it but wventually he woukd of dumped me for a younger model anyway cause he could & he has power and goals now which i was the one who encouraged him and stood by him to get his dream job and moce wherwver he wanted...me i stood by him in sickness and health etc- but he didnt! If they promise theyll change then try it but if they dont go to thru with those changes its just useless-they did it once or more and u still kept them around so why woukd they be faithful...eventually u will get traded in.....i did.

i have to say that ive never found it possible to forgive them youll lok back even if she does come back and stress yourself out till you cant sleep wether she is going to do it again i went through the same with my ex wife and even when she was the perfect wife and truly loved me again that part of me just couldnt be happy i would never be able to lppk back at our memories and know what she had done and be able to be ok. some ppl are different but 4 years after the infidelity she got the same thoughts about leaving you just never know once they leave will they do it again. i know its imbearable without her but it passes

I really hate being in this situation. I hate what she did to me and our marriage. Right now my anger is hitting me again and I hate feeling this way. I hate having to feel this hate. I wish I had the strength to tell my wife that the divorce is moving regardless and I don't need her anymore. I hate that I let my wife tell me that she is going to leave on Tuesday, though deep down I know that will not be the case. I wish I had the strength to tell her not to come back. But I don't.

So sorry you are going through this. I swing back nd forth between wanting my husband back and pure anger. I guess it's natural to feel this way.

Judging from some of the things you have said, I don't think you will be able to move on until you try it one more time. If she comes back, work hard at getting through all of this. If she doesn't, it might be the final straw and you will be able to pull the trigger on the divorce.

Thanks. Right now, I'm working the midnight shift and it is a slow night. I already feel she is really not coming back and I feel that I can't wait to tell my divorce lawyer to proceed in the divorce and get Tuesday over with.
