Breakups & Divorce Support Group
Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.
I hate to say this but this might be for the best. If she can do this to you right now without any apparent reason, she could do it again. And again. And again. I suggest that you forget about the promises. But in fairness, when you said “As time pass thingd didn't get better” you need to honestly ask yourself if you did your part, that you did not neglect her or been unfair to her. If you did there’s a lesson to be learned there.
You have to learn to be happy by yourself. That is the first step. Living alone or being alone and yet be joyful can be learned. Do not bank too much of your happiness on someone. Some guys fall in love and she becomes almost the total source of their joy and when she is gone, it pushes them to the brink. In a healthy relationship you don’t lose your identity, you just form an intimate link with another person. Of course, it hurts, it is painful, but it will heal. In the meantime, enjoy different activities that will take your mind off her, some all by yourself, some with a friend, and some with friends.
