I know there are folks reading this who are hurting and the pain never seems to go away.......it does and it will....my sister said once, " you got to give time ....time" how true looking back on that.

I so agree! I've told my mother the same...it just means we are strong enough to stand on our own...not broken. She doesn't get it yet....and that's ok too....I don't need to defend myself...

I think it's great to be able to live alone and free. It proves that you don't need anyone in your life enough to settle.

I so agree......I'm happily single. I'm really enjoying having me to myself. The other side of this is - when I do invite a man into my life, it's because I WANT to. Not because I NEED to. There is a huge difference, and I find men really do appreciate and honor that.

By the same token, I look for men who want me, not men who need me. Big, Big difference.

I couldn't agree more! I enjoy being single. I do get the whole "mom" thing. My mom keeps trying to encourage me to get out and date, like I'm not whole unless I have a man in my life. But that's her reality, not mine. I don't look at it as a negative. Enjoy where you are in life.
