Breakups & Divorce Support Group
Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.
All you can do is wait it out. Everyday it gets just that tiny little bit easier. You don't even realize it while its happening.
I am living for myself now, and I will never go back. I am spoiling myself. I love my single life, doing what I want, when I want. I have had all the relationship stuff sucked totally out of me. No more will I give everything I have to someone else and totally lose myself.
You will find someone else if that is what you want, just take time to heal yourself from this relationship first.

The light is beginning to beat out the darkness - (something which seemed impossible just a few weeks ago). Please don't count yourself out just yet as this new light is quite incredible - I don't want you to miss it.
Hugs! Hang in there!
It DOES get better. I still have bad days, days where I cry and sob, days where I am filled with rage but I'm working through it with the help of family, friends and my therapist. If you are not seeing a therapist yet I would strongly urge you to do so. If you have a physician, make an appointment to see him/her. I did and I am on antidepressants and medication to help with sleep. I can finally sleep at night. Although I lost 20lbs over the last 2 months my appetite is coming back. Life goes on for everyone here, it goes on for me and it will go on for you. I promise.

Also, you have Depression that is talking and whispering in your ear. I look at Depression as that great big roach in that movie MEN IN BLACK. And you dont want to give in TO SOME GREAT BIG ASS ROACH. STOMP HIS ASS!!!! I HATE ROACHES.
Okay, one of my things that I do when I start to feel down is that I take myself to the local park and I just look at all the great things in nature. One day, the Canadian Geese were arriving in packs of 12 and landing on the lake. So in my mind I was doing the airport call:
Canadian Flights 1-12 now arriving on South Lake runway, then Canadian Flights 13-24 now arriving on South Lake runway, then Canadian Flights 25-36 now arriving on South Lake runway. And it kept going and all the Canadian Geese were arriving at that lake. It was packed and obviously the Canadian Geese tourist destination in the U.S. at that moment.
