last week i had this inertia like you are having where i didnt want to do anything, so the work at home and the work at work got plied up and i just said: "so what"? no one is going to die if i ont do it (which is totally out of my nature as i am a worrier)..
and then i craved a particular kind of ice-cream from a particular place as if i was pregnant....and im not one to indulge myself, but you know what? i did! i pampered myself and spoiled myself and accepted and loved myself exactly where i was....
this week i feel much better, like my self confidence and energy and love for life has finally come back...
just try it and lets see if it works for you....Peace)))))))))
its the fertile void
very very important stage
Spinning Our Wheels Is Part of Getting Unstuck by Melody Beattie
When our car gets stuck in the mud or snow, we immediately try to get out. Sometimes we have to spin our wheels to get a rocking motion going. Sometimes we have to try harder, then try again before we can get out. Sometimes, spinning our wheels digs us in more deeply. Then in frustration, we let go, relax. Soon we find ourselves doing what we need to get unstuck. We ask for help or figure out another approach.
Thats how it is on our journey. We may find ourselves in a situation we dont know how to handle. So we start spinning our wheels in frustration, confusion or fear. What we know is we want out. Sometimes we need to get through the time of spinning our wheels in order to get to the next place where we slow down and figure out what we do next. Sometimes our frustration helps generate energy to get momentum going in the general direction of solving the problem. Putting forth that energy gets steam built up, tells us and the universe were ready to free ourselves.
If you find yourself spinning your wheels, be gentle with yourself. Slow down, get a nice rocking motion going, one thats rhythmic yet powerful enough to free you, then put the car in gear, step on the gas, and gently drive out of the muck.
Sometimes we need to spin our
wheels. It helps us get unstuck
i am glad you are listening to what your body needs and taking it easy. while your body is resting your mind is subconciously working on things - it will come back toyou.
something that helps me when i feel extra stuck is journaling. and jogging/walking. 95% of the time it helps. if it doesnt help, then i know my body needs more time. i dont think there is any reason to beat yourself up over taking some time for you. as we all here know too well if you dont deal with the issue at hand it will just manifest itself into another part of your life later on.
best of luck to you. maybe you will be in a better place than you were last summer - after all, look at all the work youve been doing. :) be good to you. xoxo
Fertil void. Yup. Kind of like spreading maure and working it into the soil. Let's see if I can sow some seeds over the next week or so. I'm sure I can get something to grow!
As far as sp[inning my wheels, yeah, it does kind of feel like I'm in that place. I'm trying to not be a leadfoot, because I think it won't serve any purpose at this point except to get me frustrated and anxious. Maybe dig me in deeper.
And I do think there's some work going on in the subconsciece. Mainly just calming down. Finding my center again. Allowing myself some time to let the bad stuff work its way out of my system before I begin moving forward again. Don't want to take that stuff with me. I want to have a clear head. I do need to get back to some focused activities, both mental and physical. That really helped me get traction before. Exercise and meditation and also just enforcing extra discipline in my daily routine.
I'm actually feeling a little bit better each day. And the days are now getting longer and longer. The extra sunlight has to help, right? Hmm, I should probably make an effort to take a few short breaks each day during work and take a short walk outside. Fresh air and sunlight.
