I am seriously considering taking a break from here. This is a great place for people that are healing but at the same time there is always the peanut gallery.
I question, at times, how much healing I have really done over the past year. It seems like progress is made, a few steps backwards are taken, and then progress is made again. This has been the pattern since this whole incident started. I question if people ever fully recover from this situation or if they just carry these heavy and deep scars for the rest of their life. yep, scars fade, but they never fully go away. I feel that is the reality of the whole thing.
This past year I have laughed, cried, and run the whole sprectrum of emotions here. I have met some great people and some not-so great people. I have stuck my foot in my mouth and watched others do the same. We all make mistakes and we are all healing here.
In the end, I am not sure where DS is fitting into the picture these days. In all seriousness, I dislike the internal fights and drama the blows around here from time to time, but I don't think that will ever be eliminated as long as there are people.
I may be around here or there, but I may not be as vocal anymore. We shall see where this winding path leads.

I really, really, really wish that whole thing with my rebound relationship would have never happened. oh well, maybe someone else on DS will learn from my mistake.
