I joined the DS team almost 2 yrs ago with a broken heart, miserable life and thinking that I was never going to be happy again. Lots of people told me to give it time and that things were going to get better and I didnt believe it. Finally- legally file for divorce and I feel happy, at peace with myself. I walked the valley of pain and tears, went to hell and back, rode the roller coaster ride of my life but finally came out victorious. I'm living my life, feeling happy with myself, have gotten to know myself better and what I want. I got my 3 kids and even though sometimes is diffcult been a single mother, I get to enjoy them. A yr ago I wasnt ready to let go and I couldn't even think of falling in love again and even the thought of looking at another man turn my stomach upside down. Today I'm ready to find happiness again!!
It does gets better!!! Believe it, you will be yourself again, your desire to live and enjoy life will florish again within yourself - stay strong!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At the time when you are going through the valley, it seems like an eternity. It's when you truly care about yourself and concentrate just on yourself (and your kids) that the sun comes out again.
It is a process....but eventually you get to the other side!

Thanks for your post. I am DEFINTELY on the road to recovery and healing. I'm stronger, more confident, happier and men find me attractive. ME. I am discovering more about me and have support, love and prayers of friends and family. Well done you just another example of IT CAN BE DONE. All the very best to you.

I am starting to feel this myself. My therapist told me last night that I seemed different. I think I am. More comfortable with myself. It truly does get better. Still have the occasional down day, but I know now that it won't last and I just have to ride it out until I start to feel better. Works every time.

thank you for posting your story. I needed to read this tonight and pay attention. I was divorced 2 1/2 years ago, and have had two relationships since, both of which failed for very different reasons. Sometimes I wonder if there are still issues from my divorce I never got over and if they had an affect on my relationships. I felt they were both better relationships than the marriage, but sometimes I wonder if I am even healthy enough for this.

Anyway, thanks for posting. Definitely makes me think.

Thank you for sharing your positive thoughts. I think I am at the beginning of where you were 2 years ago. Still married but not happily. Trying to figure things out and scared out of my mind that I will end up divorced and alone. I don't see the light at the end of the tunnel yet but I'm glad you do. Stay strong. Stay positive.
