Hey guys I am new to this blog and I just had a breakup 7 months back so I just wanted to discuss on what should be the scenario like
So I was in a relationship with this guy for about a year who was also a childhood friend of mine since the fourth grade.
We were like best of friends I could talk to him about each and everything and I was actually stupid enough to believe that he was the one for life and beyond, the first and the last !
However one fine day on our 10th month anniversary he approached me asking what should we do as we are growing closer and more dependent on each other and this might break me off when it continues for a longer period of time and then we might have to part ways. So according to him breaking up soon would be better as it would save *me* from the emotional turmoil but yeah he was so kind to ask me to continue our relationship for 2 more months so that it completes a year atleast . I could have laughed out loud as it sounded as extending a freaking business deal. So as I belief "you should love enough to let go" i told him he was free to leave and he did left. I still can't figure out the real reason behind my breakup coz I didn't have any.

And no we haven't spoken or texted each other since my bday I.e July. But yeah he is still hanging out with girls and I doubt he regrets it but I am just sitting here feeling guilty each time someone wants to take me out on a date or wanna have a conversation with me. This is so weird I don't love him but still feel guilty in getting in to some other guy !
It is an emotional roller coaster but things do get better ....stay strong.
