Good morning everyone!  With all of the stresses I've encountered before, during, and after the divorce, I can attest that the proverbial pendulum, when pushed, does eventually swing upwards.  I've had a really successful last two days, where I'm making progress on getting the ex out of my life (divorced but he's messing with me financially).  Last week was not so good, yesterday was excellent, and I have hopes for a good and stable upcoming week (he's on vacation).  

I've taken action to finally minimize any reliance my realtor or I have on him for any buyers for our new construction house.  (Last buyer ran after waiting 7 weeks for paperwork for him).  I obtained the Certificate of Occupancy yesterday.  I got a copy of the Deed (.10 at the County Clerk's office, versus waiting till NEVER to get a copy from the ex).  I got him to concede that we cannot legally offer any new buyer builder's warranty (which would have taken him many many months to do at a cost of $16,000).  Now, just waiting for a buyer.  I also just purchased a bed and 6 dining chairs (need refinishing, but I can do that) so when he does eventually take the furniture he's been alloted, I will have nearly everything I need.  

I'm enjoying this breath of fresh air, this week off of chasing him down, getting him to uphold his end of the divorce settlement.  I'm still getting things ready in case I do have to go back to court, but I see that I DID chisel away at the rock he put at the end of my tunnel, and I can see the daylight.
