When you have to read about a single guy complaining about the maintenance costs of three vehicles at least two of which are discretionary when alot of people can't pay their electrical bills; THATS STRESSFUL.
(Stupid bill fairy.)
At least your truck doesn't beg for more stuff everytime you take it into the shop.
Plus he protects and serves.
Cut him some slack.
Yes Cancer is stressful.
It is also horribly stressful to watch someone shoot himself and die a very slow and painful death right before your eyes and you can't do a damn thing to save him.
--Or.....Watch them doing CPR to a 13 year old boy and hold the child's mother back and away from the EMTS so she doesn't interfere.
--Or.....Tell an handicapped woman that her son, who is her caretaker, has just die in a motor vehicle crash.
--Or.....Wrestle around with a 6'3" 260 lb guy who has a gun in his waist band.
--Or.....Work a vehicle crash fatality where a small child was hit by a school bus.
All of this is very stressful as is the workplace I use to have where you never knew who was going to stab you in the back next. The office politics in my line of work are crazy and often times more stressful than the stress on the road.
--Also...Try taking a 28K pay cut in one year. That is fun too!
Next time you want to call someone an Asshole...think about what you are saying.
What I was saying by this thread is that one of the most stressful things in most people's world is financial burdens.
Yes, I don't need both vehicles. I had reasons for having both but I will probably sell one of the vehicles now to off load some of the financial stress I have.
And I'm sure that I'll find out all about stress, because I hope to be working in an ER in a little over a year. (After the stress of school...I imagine it'll be a break.)
As for swearing at anyone on a Support Site.....pfft. He's not worth your breath Heave....he's not worth it.
As for the bills. Well they stink. No arguments there.
Then again, if you look through my profile you will see that will be far from the case for me. Nothing can describe the sunset over the Chesapeake Bay. You have to live it to know it.
I hate this time of year. Snow, Cold, and no sailing. My stress level will be cut down to nothing after the boat is hauled, painted, and ready to cruise.
Hang in there... (((HUGS)))
I am probably going to sell my truck. I have a wrangler and a truck. I have noticed that I am not using the truck lately and it is getting expensive...it has always been expensive.
I am sure that I will regret selling it, but the constant repair bills between two vehicles is NUTS.
