Life goes on, and the epic journey continues. I have come to realize that our epic adventures belong solely to us. Characters weave in and out of chapters, and who knows maybe this chapter of the story hasn't finished yet (although I believe that it has). The next chapter awaits; who knows which characters are lurking in the wings? One thing I can be sure of though; I am the only constant, everything else is just a side show. I believed incorrectly that there was such a thing as a soul mate. Wrong. We are born alone, we die alone. If I don't improve myself, no one else will.
One thing that I'm proud of though; I have a lot of stories, I have been many places, done many things that other people haven't. I suppose that mine is a good tale, and the future holds many surprises. I'm only 26 years old and I bet that I can tell more stories than most; I have sailed a boat through storms, I have lived in different countries, I have been through military school, learned meditation, played music in front of audiences, earned a medical degree, nearly been sent to prison in a foreign country, I have nearly been killed while in Germany even, I have met many wonderful, diverse people and my best friends are spread out across the globe. I have loved, lost and hopefully I will love again. It is finally time to embrace the chaos and continue the journey; only this time without the comfort of my sidekick. I remember when I was 19 I left for home to go and live in another country, without knowing anyone, without knowing the language, and without knowing what my future held in store. I had more bravery then than I do now. I should be ashamed of me. I did this once, and I will do it again.

I'd love to hear some of your stories if you'd care to share. It really does sound like you've lived a fascinating life so far and there are bound to be many more exciting and interesting chapters to come.
Of your list the only things I've done are the loved and lost, and played music in front of an audience. Well, I've also sung and been onstage in a play in front of an audience too. Quite the accomplishment considering how introverted I was back then. :)
