The ex-fiancee and his family

I endured months of emotional and mental abuse from my ex with the threat of physical abuse. I did my best to hold us together as we both as children involved. I couldn't do it anymore so now I am a low life that caused all of this..his family that supported me and 'understood' when I couldn't handle much more, the family that protected the kids from it during his outrages are now calling me a liar and saying none of it ever happened. It's hard enough I chose to get out of the relationship and split up the family but now to be accused of not only lying but abusing his son. I am at my wits end with these people.

To make matters worse his sister is friends with my ex-husbands wife who hates me and says so many nasty things about me to others and our daughter. This lady tried to break up the relationship before it started with her nasty rumors, but they took the opportunity to get to know me and like me for who I am and not what they were told. Now they r saying anything and everything said was true. Why can't they all be adult like and leave me alone!! Stop the rumors and grow up!

And now to top it off...he has been creeping by my house very slowly while his brother drives by honks and waves!!

UGH! i didn't experience physical or mental abuse,but I do understand the X's family for sure...

My X's family's only saving grace is that they are good grandparents and aunt to my son. Losing them as my "family" was a HUGE bonus for me in my divorce. Not being obligated to deal with them, listen to their drama or pretend I cared about the newest issue they created on their own to have a problem with was a breath of fresh air.

I can't stand my X sister in law, and she knows it. She was such a rumor-starting, troublemaker due to her own lack of self-esteem and self-respect, and getting rid of her was AWESOME.

Rise above it! You can't control what people say, and who cares what they say anyway? Stay being you, and holding your head high...people who like to sit in their own sh*t tend to come out the nastiest...and you don't need to be a part of that anymore. I say good riddance!!

Ugh! In-laws! Don't miss mine (only have a sister-in-law and her husband), but that's more than enough). Never saw anyone spend so much time with their head up their ass and then blame the whole world, but especially my children, for why her kids are messed up. Will not miss them at all. They haven't talked to me since before the day I moved out (a year go), and I don't even care.

Document. Document. Document. Anything he does, document it. Write down each time he drives by, save emails, record phone calls (if your state is at least a one-party consent state), take photos of him driving by if you can.... just start keeping record of everything. I know it sounds like a pain in the ass & a lot of work, but you'd be doing something about it so you can then go the police for harassment & squash it before it gets worse, especially given the history between you two. And when there are children involved, you need to show you're doing SOMETHING to look out for them.
We're always going to be the devil to our former in-laws, even when the f*ck up is related to them or their fault. We'll always be easy targets so they can curl into the fetal position & play victim.
Take charge to show you won't stand for that b.s.
