Breakups & Divorce Support Group
Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.
It was appropriate for her to ask if you were OK,and good for you to respond that you are.
I don't see any need for any more communication (unless you have kids).
I wish you a speedy recovery!
Bottom Line: She dumped, was quite nasty in the process and then cut me off completely. That's all I really need to know and it's reason enough for me to steel my spine and begin in earnest to move on.
I foolishly tried to contact her several times to no avail. That just prolonged the process. I was also hoping she would eventually contact me as she had in the past. Equally foolish as I was constantly checking my cell and home phone for texts/messages and facebook to see if she unblocked me.
I will never attempt to contact her again, and on the very slim chance she decides to contact me I've made it difficult by blocking her accross the electronic spectrum.
Now I have no reason to expect a text or voicemail or facebook message, so I just don't check any longer. It actually feels good and even empowering.
Of course she could pop up at my house or send me a letter, but they could also have a snowball fight in Hell. Yeah, right. ;)
well done
now you can relax again
Let it go and move on.
I'm just wondering why you texted her about the accident? Did you want her to feel badly and contact you so you could talk to her?
No contact is best.....no matter what happens in your life now. Contacting the ex, no matter the reason, will only bring you more pain.
