I tucked her into bed, sent him an email thanking him for the stuff he picked up this weekend & wished him luck & happiness with his new living arrangement. The weird part is I dont even think I meant it sarcastically... it was sincere but now I'm sitting here crying like a baby. I'm so confused....

I am sorry you are hurting. I read what you said and i want to cry for you. my husband just moved out on the 19th and i am so not looking forward to all of that. Just know you are stronger then you think you are.

Ah Pam, I'm so sorry. IT does seem like every time we take a couple of steps forward, we get pushed backwards one or two.

It surely is slow going. I'm proud of you for being able to handle it well when you addressed him. Now that you're on your own time, if you need to cry, this is the time to get it out.

My daughter is Ok with it as she really likes her... & I encourage that for her sake. My ex sucked as a step father to my oldest & I dont want my youngest going through anything like that so I smile & encourage for her sake....

It can be confusing sometimes the things that trigger our emotions. Knowing your ex is moving ahead with his life with his GF leaving behind your life together is tough.

It's good that you encourage a healthy relationship between your daughter and his GF.

I'm so sorry. My stbx is living with his ow too. It's tough sometimes when I think about them being together at night, getting to talk and make plans. It hurts.

I understand your pain, too. Even though we don't want them back, it still hurts to see them move on.
