I would get it soon, if it holds any value to you. Be sure to make arrangements (email would provide better documentation than text, if he uses it), but save any written communication about your arrangement to pick it up. If he blows you off multiple times you may need a court date, if the stuff is valuable. That is why I suggest documentation.

Definitely bring a trusted friend along for support (I am thinking of the movie Legally Blond where the nail salon employee brings Reese Witherspoon with her to go get the dog from the ex). If something goes wrong, have a plan B and go blow off steam with your friend. Hugs!

It won’t be a big deal as far as retrieving them. He’ll let me get my stuff no problem. It’s just the pain of seeing him. Especially since the way things ended. My ex husband moved a trailer on my property with out my consent or permission, I told him no and he did it anyway and exbf was upset and he created this big story in his head about how Im not ready to move on with him, the bf. So he backed off with calls and visits and that was two months ago and a week ago Saturday was the last time we txt’d and he was all hope things get awesome for you soon. I don’t think if I went thru the txts I could even find a “were over” txt. Whenever I asked him point blank he was all I don’t know if this is the end of us. I just need to be able to have my bikes and to heal my completely shattered heart and get over the fact we weren’t each others The One afterall.

Sorry this is happening to you. You deserve someone who will do everything they can to fix the problems in your relationship. Going through something very similar here, my boyfriend of 1.5 years just broke up with me out of basically nowhere also. We were arguing over how much time we spend together (I wanted to spend more time together than he did) when he decided that the relationship wasn't working anymore and told me it was over. I saw him today to get my stuff and my heart broke all over again. Especially because he had very little to say about why he did what did and that he was sorry. He told me he hopes we can reconnect in the future and succeed, which breaks my heart even more
