I feel the exact same way ,wonder if youll ever find another companion for life. its probally not healthy but I look at match.com websites just browse through. and see there are other people out there that have a lot of the same interests as me. and I think of positive possibilities.i wont talk on there I know its too soon and I'm not ready, but knowing there is still going to be a great life awaiting me and I can find someone who is right and wants to share it with if I want too. life will get better. you deserve to be happy and not have to struggle and work so hard for it. we all do.

Momof2Boys - It may feel like the loneliness is going to kill you, but it is not. The pain is intense, unbearable, but take deep breaths, cry until you're so exhausted you sleep. But starting immediately, vow to do something that will make you feel better, even for a few minutes, each and every day. I had to repeat, and I do mean repeat for an hour, "better and better every day, better and better every way". On Jan 1, I wrote 161 positive messages to myself on 161 strips of construction paper, "find your miracle today", "you are an an amazing person", "you are stronger today than you were yesterday"...examples. After doing that, I could not help but feel better. Dig deep to find something that can help you deal with this emotional trauma.

This his the beginning and only expected you feel this way. Instead of thinking how you can change it think about you. Your kids. Once you are feeling better and get your confidence back you will be surprised at how things evolve. Xoxo

I am so sorry you are going through that and that you have to be separated for year before a divorce. While our house is being sold, my husband has been staying wherever, but comes back at times, and that's too difficult for me. It's easier for us to be away from each other during this time. So that must be hard to share the home, and exhausting. Financially it is difficult, for 2 married people to up and move out to 2 separate places. We fought so hard recently that we took a low offer on our home, just to get out of all of this. Sometimes, we have to do what is necessary to move on to get to a better place....good luck to you. This whole divorce thing is very painful, no matter who wants it, or why it's happening. Really takes a toll on a person, I stay strong for my kids.

I'm in VA and we have the same law. Separated for 1 year before divorce. Luckily my spouse moved out and vacated until my son and I move back to our home state. Long story short, we moved up here for his job as gov't employee and he has been having affairs. I didn't find out until after he left. Anyhow, it's my understanding that once we get a settlement in place, I can move, he will move back in the house and sell the house. I understand the loneliness. I am all alone up here too and am stuck until we get some sort of settlement agreement in place. It's isolating. My son is 12 and he is the reason that I move forward every day. (Even though it feels like I'm not moving forward at all) You are strong enough to get through this, don't get him that power over you! Are you working on a settlement agreement?
