Well, I'm starting NC. Its been a month since the breakup but it was kind of drawn out (see my other threads if you're curious). I went Wed-Saturday without talking to him. Had to contact one last time about the energy bill (stupidly threw a short apology in there for the way I've acted, hey at least I was being nice). Now I have no reason to talk to him. All he said in return was "It's all good. I'm paying the bill fyi". It's the 1st of the month so that'll help me keep track. I'm doing it for me because I pretty much know that his ego's too big to contact me and he doesn't care anymore. I hope in time that won't hurt so much. Even after acting desperate, he shouldn't remember me for who I was AFTER the breakup. Nobody who loses their long term SO, job, and apartment in one day should be judged for how they react.

I was an amazing girlfriend to him. Even if he never contacts me again, I'm secure enough to know he's going to realize how good he had it with me. I just have to remember that and get my dignity back.
