I had to have my husband leave the house yesterday because he did not want my son to come over. My son is a Christian and is very respectful, but my husband and him do not get along. My son knows that if he ever needs me or wants company he is always welcome to come to his home. Our home will ALWAYS be my sons and daughters home. Especially seeing that my husband moved in with us, before my son left home due to him. My husband and I constantly argue about doing things Gods way, my family and money. The straw that broke the camels back is his not wanting my son in our home. The thing is now I'm alone AGAIN and it feels kinda weird after being with someone for 10 years. I know there are hardly any decent men where I live. I am just feeling so down.
The prospect of being without a partner is scary beyond reason but to lose your child in the hopes of keeping someone who values that bond is perhaps the brutal reality.
My mother and I hardly speak. She chose safety and security over the mental well being of her children.
To be brave is no easy task, but it wouldn't be bravery if you weren't scared.
