I received a phone call yesterday from my brother. His stbx son-in-law has been charged with stabbing a facebook acquaintance and her daughter. From what I understand he stabbed the mother, tried to cut out her tongue. When the 15 year old daughter came to her mother's defense, he stabbed her too. She ran to the neighbors who called Police and he was arrested. This morning, the local news says that he will also be charged with the murder of his father, who was murdered in June of last year. These charges will be filed today, at his court appearance at 1 pm. He and my niece have been separated for about 8 months. Be careful who you befriend. I have known this guy for over 15 years. According to reports, he has had mental issues for some time which resulted in the separation from my niece, She became afraid for herself and their 2 children. What a terrible tragedy.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.
Violence seldom goes with mental illness. Although sometimes mental illness runs in families and the stress of having mental illness and raising children can easily lead to child abuse. And child abuse and violence are connected, espeically when it is denighed and the children never get help.

I'm sure you being a minister are praying for all that were involved in this tragedy.
He wasn't charged with his father's murder until this morning. His dad was murdered in June of 2010. He died of blunt force trauma. Evidently they have linked something to this crime or he has admitted to killing his dad. We don't know the whole story yet. Notice I said in my post, I said these charges would be filed today. Had he been charged last June with his dad's murder, he would have been in jail.
So sorry for everyone involved. Such terrible events.

We had special prayer for his family last night at Prayer Meeting, at my church as well as others that have been affected by this tragedy.
