You should also ask yourself if your sense of loneliness isn’t coming from boredom and if so, there are many ways people entertain themselves such as travel, hobbies, exercise etc.. you should find out what interest you and delve into these. Also you should be aware that just having someone next to you (partner/friend etc..) does not guarantee that you won’t feel lonely. There are many couples out there who are together and yet still feel lonely (grown apart, not communicating, no longer seeing eye to eye etc..) Even if a relationship do start with full of love and understanding, over time both party need to put the effort to make it work in long term so don’t assume once you click with someone it’s going to be easy, smooth sailing all the way to the end. Some say the most issue/trouble a human experience in one’s lifetime is through a relationship (relationship with siblings, parents, friends, neighbours, partner, kids etc… ). Be realistic and clear about what you truly want and if you are willing to pay (putting the effort, willing to accept the consequences) for that.
