Out in the real world, the good ones are hard to find...they're already in relationships with evil people, who will ruin them until they no longer trust others.

I think that there are many good people in the world also. It is just a matter of being in the right place at the right time. I know that I have met a wonderful man, but he was just not that into me. That happens in the real world, so you just chalk it up to experience and say if it happens, that is great, and if it doesn't , just use that time to be the best that you can be. I love the optimism of the post. I hope that everyone here finds someone to spend some time with, including me:-) Hugs, Kimmee

We have to figure out what attracts those types (imperfect match) to us and what attracts us to them...

A lot of people have two personalities...especially the abusers. they know how to lure one in with their kindness, throughtfulnes...they are keen into perceiving and finding out the type of person you are looking for and that is how they present themselves. if you are a hardworker, they will mention how hard working they are...they will tell you stories about how hard working they are. If you like art, they will make themselves to like art. etc. etc. then after they have lured you in, you love them...of course the true self comes out...because they can only fake it up to a certain point. Further, part of falling in love is identifying those things in the other person that are us, the dissapointment comes when later on we find out that there are other qualities that were not like us and are bad for us.
there are a lot of good men out there, but not everyone is for us, and not all of us are for them. it just takes patience I guess. Ithought I found a bood man, and he turned out to be a user, abuser and cheater...and with a clinical depression he cannot control. Of course, in his own head, he thinks i am to blame, and actually acuses me of being the cause of his insanity. Geez!
