yup, am doing it today. I actually feel ok about it. I will be glad when its all over.

The one thing I am afraid of is his reaction. He is going to flip his lid when he reads the fine print. I know he wants the divorce, but with the support, custody, alimony Im asking for, he is going to freak!

Oh yeah, the lawyer says it will be a couple of weeks before he gets served. I will let you all know when that is, because, if Im not on here for a couple of days after that, send the posse looking for me:)

Right on diemjs!!! :) Hang tough girl. I'm waiting too, so I know EXACTLY how you are feeling. I've said it before...it's the calm before the storm! LOL...It honestly feels that way. At least you are plugging away doing what needs to be done! (((HUG))) Hey, feel good about this...now it's HIS turn to do all that f$%ked up paperwork! That's going to cut in to his social time! LOL

HE gets his papers today aswell. I am waiting for all craziness to be let lose. Kinda scared but I am facing my fear and will be ok in the end!

I find most steps in this process bittersweet. I'm so ready to be done with it, but I always feel really sad after completing another step. I actually threw up after my ex left when we met to have his signature notarized on the quit claim for my house. It's necessary, and I'm glad I get to keep my house, but it was really a shock that he could glibly sign away the place we'd dreamed of only months after purchase. I'm really glad you're doing ok, but caution you to be prepared in case you feel sad after you've signed.

Good luck. I'm weathering a shitstorm of abuse right now because the poor man now has to pay the state, or in his case, not pay the state instead of me.

Take cover once he gets them.........

Good for you for sticking to your guns. I also am in a shit storm now. STBX wants me to sign the settlement but it is a joke and I won't. Now he is refusing to let me pay to renew registration on the car I drive unless I sign. Sorry not going to happen. Decided I won't give. Picked out a car and contacted a friend who is an insurance agent and will just go buy a car and continue to battle if I have to to get what I deserve.

Minnesota altered their alimony and child support laws last January, pretty stringent now... might want to check into your states laws too.
