I have made appointments to go see three different places today, all close enough that my kids could walk or ride bikes. I can handle seeing the stbx for short periods, I just don't want to stand in front of her and take her abusive manners. I had previously asked her to move out but she would have no where to go except with her sister down south, and then she would take the kids. So I'm OK with her keeping the house for now, as long as she helps pay.
I am asking that the house be sold immediately. I have told the lawyer that I would consider letting her stay in the house for another year only if she pays for part of it, and agrees in writing that I still own 1/2 the equity when we do sell. Butr truly I do not want to be a partner with her on this or anything else beyong the care and dexisions for our kids. Personally I think the house is a losing proposition for us both - to try and hang onto the house, it will not be worth any more in a year than now. The primary reason for staying there is so our daughter could go to the same school as she likes it, and likes her friends. I now know there are many nice places available in the same area, for much less money per month. So selling is the right thing to do. And moving into a condo is the right thing to do, even if I have to have faith that she will start working.
Exactly how many soaps can one woman watch in a day?
And Skeet, yes I have been praying about this and feel that God has blessed my original decision to move out and on, and I continue to pray that he help us all, myself, my kids, and the ex.
