My wife just texted me, "Can I still come?" She asked me that many times before and I have answered, yes. After over a week since I heard from her, she still asked me the same question. I realize now that she really wants me to say no. But I'm not going to respond to her. I'm not going to be weak again and give her a response. I'm still moving towards divorce and she can find that out once she gets the paperwork in the mail.

Good for you! I think she wants to hear yes, to know that her backup plan is there, and you've now chosen to say no. Keep going on this path, she may revert and panic now that you didn't respond.

Silence is golden. Nothing worse than getting no answer at all. Stick to your guns. While I love a happy ending, she has jacked you around enough.

Oh god she's just making sure she has you on the hook still.
She's a piece of work. Good job not responding, she needs the reality check you have planned. Anything else is just playing into her hand.

Texting is not an appropriate way to ask a betrayed spouse to be let back into the relationship. If she were serious, she'd show up at your door asking for mercy.
