It has been another boring Saturday for me so far.  Hope this changes soon but in the mean time....what are you doing tonight and how was your day?

Just came back from the women's March in Chicago!

It's up to you how exciting or boring you make your days. Don't assume that staying in all day equals a boring day. Did you accomplish anything today? Turn on some music and dance like noboday's watching. Start a jigsaw puzzle, set a self-improvement goal and start working on it...like learning a new language, look for activities in your area...I signed up for a dance class. Look for cooking classes, ceramic classes. I live in an area where trips to NYC are planned. If you have something like that sign up for that.

As far as tonight, I want to read most at least 1/2 of a book that I got today: Influence-The Psychology of Persuasion.

My son took me out for lunch. I have a party to go to shortly but it doesn't raise my spirits, Guess I have the blues too.

I have done a little bit of cooking, cleaning and journaling. I have also been watching tv so while I have been inside pretty much all day, I have gotten some things done :)

JeanK - live in the moment! You got to go to lunch with your son. That is something amazing. I guarantee there a thousand mom's out there that would love to have lunch with their son but can't for whatever reasons. Carpe Diem!

It's been a boring day for me too. I haven't even gotten out of my pj's. Plus, it has rained all day here...blah.

SBC, I had a case of Friday night blues, same tonight. I'm just going to call it weekend blues. Everyone's busy this weekend so I'm alone nothing to do. Just looking forward to Monday so I can go back to work. I could feel myself starting to break today so I went to the YMCA for a workout and a swim. Helps a little but I'm starting to get bored going by myself all the time. I like to talk and I've been too quiet lately. Weekends, I hardly say a word...no body to talk to. I'm trying to meet new friends just doesn't seem to be working yet. 12 weeks now and counting :(
