its been almost two months since I told my husband I wanted a divorce. This decision has been brewing in me for the last 3 years. This weekend i finally moved out and now in an apartment. This is a very painful and confusing stage as I was the one who asked for a separation/divorce. I still love that man and the times we had together won't just easily go away. I just didn't love the life I lived with him and his son.

Maybe there is a way to work together for a positive change instead of quitting. Remember, no matter how hard it is to endure misery, it is not the same as actually investing effort into improving the relationship. At least leave yourself open to the possibility that you have made a mistake... one that you will see more clearly with time.

Agree with the other 2 replies. We all have are own deal breakers. Did he do something that was ? A good strong relationship takes 2, all easy and fun when we are up, and when we are down it can be really hard. Help one another out and get back on track. Hope that helps

@ idontmakehwrhapy i agree and definitely would be the first to accept my fault in the matter but he clearly thinks he didn't do anything wrong. I tried for years.

@ amcole yes I'm definitely talking to friends a lot. Right now I feel that it is worth not to try anymore.

@ niceguy he had a son from previous marriage and this steplife life is difficult when you have a spoiled child and no support from your spouse, that's just one not to mention his bad temper. There were all downs in the last year or so.
