We broke up recently---I had a 4 year relationship with a woman and this is my first relationship with same sex. Wondering if anyone out there is going through the same situation. It takes time to get over I know and I need good distractions right now to forget her.

Everyone on this forum is going through or has had a breakup, I do not know tho how many are of the same sex if there are any. But a breakup is a breakup. It hurts and the process to move on is still the same regardless of the partner.

Take your time if you want to share your story, regardless if there is someone here who has been in a same sex relationship or not. We have all been through breakups and can really offer some great support.

If you want to talk, let me know. I left a 12 year same-sex relationship about 16 months ago. It's hard.
