It's been two months since the ending of my two year long relationship. After the first couple of weeks I was fine and then ever since then I have been crying everyday. Throughout the relationship our main argument was time. He was an introvert so he was fine not hanging out very often. I wanted more and this was always a point of contention. At the end of May I asked him where this relationship was going. Since he lease was coming up I said I thought it would be best if he finally got his own place. He said he turned in his lease and we started looking at places for him. The day he was supposed to move he told me that he didn't like the area where we found the apartment and it wasn't where he wanted to be. Probably because it was farther from his mom. Told me he lied about turning im his lease and he was going to try getting out of the new lease. Then goes on and on about how unhappy he was. I was unhappy as well. we agreed to go to counseling. I went in with an open mind. He did not. The counselor said he needed to set boundaries with his mom and he said she didn't know anything.
Fast forward to October. He went on a trip. The entire trip he was talking about plans when he returned and how he wanted to take me to get my nails done etc. things had been rocky so I offered to just be friends. the day he came back my boss had invited us over for dinner. He said we didn't have to go to that but he would take me out to dinner. After he landed I hadn't heard from him. I called him and no answer. Next thing you know I receive a text that says please check your email I'm sorry. I read my email and he broke up with in a letter. This was an hour before I was supposed to meet him at a restaurant. I tried calling him and he immediately blocked my number and blocked me on Facebook. Never replied to my email or anything. One email and done. I wasn't happy with the current state of the relationship, but how can one person who has been so caring and gone great lengths to make me happy suddenly treat me this way? He said he would like to meet up in a few weeks but never contacted me.
I am devastated. I can't even comprehend how one person could be so cruel. I have never lied to this man. Sure we had disagreement which caused both of us to have resentment, but he was so unwilling to see my point of view. I can't even look at happy couples. I want to just stay inside in bed and cry. I sometimes just wish I were dead. I feel like at my age all the good guys are gone. I truly believed this man loved me and I'm just baffled. I've done my fair share of things wrong in this relationship but what does one do to deserve this treatment? I have never lied or cheated on this man. I honestly don't know if I can go on. It's not the relationship ending its the treatment I have received.

I had gone to the grocery store. When I wheeled my cartback to my car I just stool there a minute. A few spacesaway a Tesla Cyber truck was parked. I had seen it on theroad a few times for a few seconds. But not close up.It looked like it belonged to 2126 and not 2026. I wasgoing to take a picture of the car but the owners cameback and drove away. It was an ordinary middle age...

I can relate about how you feel as far as wanting to stay in bed and cry. I don't want to do ANYTHING and cannot get motivated. The holidays are great, but as of now I have no tree and have done no decorating, as I always do and WE used to do! I can understand how you feel, but we cannot give up!
Even while you are grieving, start planting some seeds of what you want for you --things that you like to do and want to do. One thing I would like to do is get back to doing art work. Something I have put off for a long time.
Make sure you pamper yourself and treat yourself well. Love you. That is the best things we can do when we are grieving.
Here is a poem that I will share again on Daily Strength. To me it speaks of how I must go through with my grief even if I don't like it and it doesn't feel good. I hope it is meaningful to you:
The Guest House (by Jalal al-Din Rumi)
This being human is a guest house.
Every morning a new arrival.
A joy, a depression, a meanness,
some momentary awareness comes
As an unexpected visitor.
Welcome and entertain them all!
Even if they're a crowd of sorrows,
who violently sweep your house
empty of its furniture,
still treat each guest honorably.
He may be clearing you out
for some new delight.
The dark thought, the shame, the malice,
meet them at the door laughing,
and invite them in.
Be grateful for whoever comes,
because each has been sent
as a guide from beyond.
what is the point of you going on?
i'll answer that with a question
what is the point of letting a jerk off derail your whole life?
you are 27, and yes a lot of the good guys are gone, some of them are with bad women, these women will fuck with the guys heads just like the jerk off fucked with yours
a lot of good guys are still solo
be open to something good happening again
something good has already happened you are not the girl friend of a jerk off that devalued you anymore And that is a good thing
