Really miserable and I guess bitter!

So my husband of 20 years cheated on me and I kicked him out he just moved right in with that woman. He hasn't contacted our kids and just started his new life with her and her kids. I find that I just hate life and am so miserable I can't believe someone can just leave their family and be with a new one. I found out on Thanksgiving he took his new family to his moms. I got mad and I told his mom don't ever contact me again I feel so done wrong. I just don't know when life will get better right now I wake up everyday hating it.

I am SO sorry for what happened to you. It is really disappointing that he didn’t have the guts to face it like a man and have a sit down with everyone. Obviously he is happy there, but I just don’t understand how someone can drop the old life just like that and move on.
How old are your children?

Luckily they are teenagers but still. My son had a birthday this month turned 16 and his dad got him nothing.

He's angry that you kicked him unceremoniously to the curb and played the one and only card he had left. He move in with the OW, plaster a smile on his face and pretend to be deviously happy. Being married to a cheater, you know first hand how everything look fine on the outside but be totally different upon closer inspection. He's ignoring his own children to get back you.

Even if he has moved on, just like you say, then good riddance to bad rubbish I say. If he is the type of person who could do something like this to his own children he's not worth feeling any kind of way about. I'd pull my act together, focus on myself and my kids and make sure children don't feel this is their fault. Smooth over him ignoring them in whatever way saves them the grief of feeling thrown away. Worry about them and how they feel.

I hear how hurt you are by your husband's choice to be with another woman. It must be very overwhelming for you. I understand having been there myself. It sounds like, from what you've shared, that your husband seems to have moved on. While the shock of everything seems overwhelming to you right now, in time, you too will find a way to move on. Allow yourself time to mourn the loss of your marriage. It's part of your healing process to grieve your losses. It will take time. It's important that you take care of yourself right now, and your children. Do you have a support system? DivorceCare.org is a great support group for people going through separation and divorce. Do you have a family member and or a best friend that you can lean on for support? It's important that you have someone you can talk to and turn to for love and support. Divorce Care for Kids, DC4K.org is a great support group also. Your kids are going through their own hurt and loss in all of this as well as you. Sometimes it's difficult to think about your kids and what they're going through in their pain and loss when you're in pain. Also, counseling and or therapy can help you all through this.
