We also take for granted that the people who care about us are always there...We just expect them to always be there...Kind of like how my marriage fell apart. I took for granted what I had. Now, she doesn't love me anymore. Ain't life a bitch...

RMan, you work two jobs, have stressful days, do what you can to support your family, what else can you do? not sure if this is taking or granted...

But did I do everything I could to make the marriage work? No. Do I still have hope, knowing that I can't change the way she feels about me? Yep. It's insanity. I regret a lot of things...

Maybe because you want to believe that something might be there to take you away from the pain you are living in? And you're reaching out in hope that this will be the answer to your prayers.

I have found that the unreachable will always stay that way in our lives, yet we continue to try...maybe it's just because we can't get them that makes us want them so badly.

You cannot change the past but you can do something about it now so the future can turn around. I know there is so much to this story, and she is there. Have you tried a date away from the kids, or a vacation or simply bring flowers home for a change, make it in a way that you want to show that you still care?... maybe she says she doesn't or she shows she doesn't but there is somethign that can spark the emotion back. For some reason I thing there is still something there if you try now.

Hey Ms Viv, I think there might be something with acceptance. We feel we must be accepted or liked and then we fall into the same trap.

But what are we talking about here? - a family member who is being an ass or Someone new we are trying to make a future with...because I'm thinking I have two different responses....

Because we love them...and only remember the good, and maybe this time they'll remember that too.
