I can finally be me.
I actually have money in the bank and I don't have to beg for it.
I don't have to listen to a bunch of lies and spend days, weeks, months, and years trying to figure it out.
I don't have to worry about when he comes home from work what kind of mood he will be in.
I don't have to listen to him blaming me for his poor decisions and actions.
I don't have to pay for his poor decisions and actions.
I live in a completed home (he always ripped up our house with construction, but never finished it. I left him 8 years ago and the downstaires bathroom and laundry room had been ripped apart for remodeling 2 years prior to that......it still ain't done according to my daughter).
I am free, free, great God in heaven, I am free at last!!!!!
"Oh my gods, I don't want to die alone!"
phase. Thank goodness that has ended. I'm content by myself most of the time. I also have a list of things I don't have to deal with.
At some point, I would like to find someone else to be with, but would rather 'die alone" than to settle for a severely damaged person again.
