I've been divorced since Jan. A week after he texted me and we fell into some twisted weekend physical relationship. My daughter from my late husband was at her friends. One day it's like he hit his head on the wall and became a prick. Once he told me he sleeps with a chick that reminded him of me I was done. Since then I blocked him from everything. He will use another number to irritate me. I'm tired of finally being happy and he does that I just deflate. I knows he does that to me. My life centers around my daughter. She is at that age that things are changing. My family. I have no interest in dating. None. I have been asked out but no. Why do i have this nagging feeling in the back of my mind? I am big on closure. I never got it. All I can do is journal my feelings.

I have never experience a divorce but I can only imagine. I am currently going through a rough break up. The only thing that has been lifting my spirits is prayer. I have been praying non stop. I am not saying praying will heal all your problems but it help you handle them in a much better way. I am at a place where I still get sad and angry because I trusted this man with my heart and he broke it. It sucks. Surround yourself with family and friends until you able to feel much better about yourself.

I go to church now, its a good time to embrace
That part of yourself. I am not religious just
Spiritual i go to a different church than what
i was Raised in, Its more for the fellowship
and its Where i went to divorce care. HUGS

Closure comes from YOU. Nobody can give you closure unless you are willing to close that chapter. Since you don't have any children with this guy it is easier to go NO CONTACT. If he keeps bothering you from other numbers then try changing your number. Make sure you tell the people you give your number to refrain from giving it out. It is great that you are not dating yet. Do so when you feel ready and don't force it. Leave yourself open to new things and if someone comes along which sparks your interest then allow things to evolve at it's own pace and naturally. You seem so strong. I congratulate you on this. Good for you so far. Blessings

Thank you all for your words. He was/is a manipulating person. I should of seen that after the divorce. He knows how to play on my depression. I know you can't play the what if game. The marriage was short but left a impact.
