$105.00 to be able to park for the semester and still have to walk all the way across campus because still not close to where I need to be. *sigh*

Then you could park, and ride your bike to the classes you have to get to, or roller blades, maybe....

I had the bike down there before but doesn't really help in bad weather every other time it is great though. The walk isn't undoable, I have done it before just venting because it is so expensive and you don't get close to where you need to be.

Think about how happy your gonna be when you graduate!

Oh don't I know what you are going through, though! I went through that nightmare run around last year, but didn't know a bunch of stuff (like purchasing parking permits in July, not August cuz August was too late!) Going back to school this fall is smoother bacause I know how things work and I won't have the commute..One solution is park and ride... Financial aid, though? Freakin nightmare. Still ..They say they will diperse a certain day, that day arrives and then the financial aid office tells you either they haven't figured out how much the tuition hike is going to be or that there is a 48 hour wait until the loan check clears and the burser can disperse your funds! In the meantime, people with cash are snagging up the good places early, parking permits and there you are, waiting for the aid to come through so you can move in maybe 10 days before school...and books? lucky if they are still stocked with the ones you need. Un believable. I just don't trust the timelines now. So Calgon, take me awayyyyy!. Good luck to you....it will be worth it when the dust settles. Everyone goes through the same thing :)

Just wait until you see the cost of your books..even a used book,.than you can scream. Better yet you can do a search on-line for your text, if you got the title, author, etc. Going this route is much cheaper.

Thanks for the support everyone, ELV I know what you mean I always hated trips to the bookstore. I found this great website last semester though, you can rent your books. It was great and so much cheaper. I am gonna do that again this semester.
