Breakups & Divorce Support Group
Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.
Of course this counts! This is a safe place to freely express how you feel. Whether parents are divorced a short time or a long time, children feel the stress and challenges of that decision. You are not alone. Often, you may feel pulled in both directions, even if your parents are not putting you in that position. You might want to share that it is best not to discuss the other parent with you, especially if it is negative. You can have a relationship with both parents and they should always support that. I am not sure what specifically is stressing you out, but it is good to have boundaries and insist that everyone be respectful of each other. If things get hard, you might want to talk to a counselor about protecting your heart and things you can do to keep yourself emotionally stable. You can thrive in spite of the divorce and even find a strength and resilience that will serve you well in your life. Stay strong, believe in yourself! I wish you well.
