It has always confused me when someone says I don't love you anymore.

I remember thinking how the heck did that happen?

But it does happen someones expectations sometimes do change over time. Goals, Plans and what or whom they want to be with.

Some people end up just wanting to be alone.

I was brought up devout christian. Back in the day of fire and brimstone. I was taught you hang in there and work it out.

Expectations and the ease of which to get a divorce make that difficult for many.

During a couple of breakups I was sure I must have done things terrible wrong. I did the blame game, beat myself up pretty good.

After some time and alot of reflection I realized, in some cases it wasn't me. And as I looked at the gal I used to be associated with she was not the same person that I used to love. Or get this the one in my head.

If you find yourself bargaining or blaming you this season, do yourself a solid and take a break from all that.

I hope that everyone finds some Joy this Season.

Blessings sometimes come disguised as something painful.

Hi i think we are very much like a bikini .....over time to accommodate everyone we have allowed ,breaking our word,giving up,divorce,to become apart of love relationships and as soon as something seems hard or not fun we jump ship..............If you consider how strong you have loved and felt loved and that its a gift.....to turn your back on it is stupid.

30 years ago divorce was all most unheard of now it over takes people married and most kids are growing up with out parent . Love relationships are being disrespected and at the current down ward spiral i wonder whats left in ten years .

If we breaking all gods rules and living and sleeping together before we get married and then in a church we get married and promise to love one person forever then get divorced ...if you are god would you think this was OK.

Venting and think we as a race are lost ........Pain is the very best learning tool we have ......

jaylucky - I am in agreement. We have become such a selfish society... It has become about "me", instead of about family, and lifelong commitment . People forget their wedding vows -"for better or for worse" Once the for worse hits or the second they feel a bit unhappy the they run away and sometimes into the bed of another person before they have ended the marital relationship. The therapist that my ex and I went to actually encouraged him to leave after we only had 2 sessions, never delving into his unhappiness. All he had to say was that he wasn't happy and that was enough of a reason for the therapist to blow up a 26 year marriage. I am sick to death of divorce being perfectly acceptable. My ex used that line on me, "every one else does this, it's not unusual" That was such a sad statement. Just because someone does something does not make it right for someone else to do it.

Sorry - I too am just venting as well. Our society has devalued the nuclear family at the expense of our children!

100% correct - marriage is a vow and how saddening it is that someone can just walk away. I dealt with this and still am in tons of pain, but it has gotten better and I have nothing but disrespect for him going forward.

Yep, I am too in a very painful. He told me I'm a fighter and loyal. All it take is some big fight that this time it hurts his feeling and then run away

I agree. People don't value marriage at all. Marriage is hard but anything worth having is. It's tough but that's why the vows are very clear. Blessings to all of you, we will survive.
