If you don't already have one, get a shark of an attorney!! Show him the letter. Of course, much will depend on the laws of your country & your region.

Doesn't he have his own pension?

I would tell the attorney when he signed the letter & if it was before or after the date of marriage as well as when you started your pension (i.e. before or after you married). In the U.S. these things could make a difference.

I'm so sorry bambam. If I remember correctly he is abusive. What he is doing now is yet another typical abuser tactic. Abusers don't consider the consequences of their actions, especially when it comes to their children. They just think that they are right and entitled to what they want when they want it.

I'm not an attorney, but I would definitely your attorney if you can use his lack of paying child support as leverage to keep your entire pension.

Is there a child support order in place? If so, ask your attorney what needs to be done to get it garnished from his wages. My ex got behind in child support payments to the tune of 40 grand. He was ordered to make payments on that. He STILL wouldn't pay. My attorney filed a motion to have the garnishment done. I also talked to the prosecuting attorney in my county for help. In my state, there is a child support division that will help in these matters. Maybe there is such a hing in your state.
