For those of you familiar with my story this post will make sense. I feel so pathetic, I went from feeling great and good last night to feeling totally pathetic. I heard from my ex today after he had called me twice yesterday from rehab the first time asking me to come see him then eight hours later calling back leaving msg telling me he doesnt want to see me. He called me today and I anwered because for some stupid reason I'm still concerned about him. He said he doesnt want me to visit for now, he doesnt want any drama, he wants to focus on himself, he's feeling really good and positive about everything he has going on in his life right now, he told me I'm a great person and he wishes the best for me, I'm thinking I'm a huge reason you are where you are right now, I really dont think he would've gone in the first place if it werent for me, and it hurts me more than words to know that he's not missing me no in fact he's feeling great and on top of the world not seeing me. I feel like such a piece of shit, so used. He said he hopes I continue to be there for him, I was so confused I asked him Okay so are we not going to talk anymore?? Me asking him!!! I m so fucking pathetic!!! He tells me its very limited when he can use the phone but there s number I can call to leave msgs he asked me two or three times if I wanted the number, then he said its a 28 day program and once he's done he wants to go to a half way house where we'll be able to talk more. I m so confused.........I know I should be the one saying no it doesnt matter how much or how little you can talk cuz I need to move on but I still want to fucking be there for him!!! WHat the fuck is wrong with me??? I dont get it, I dont get why I care for him so much, I feel like I'm the only one who cares, I'm an option to him and he s a priority to me.......I need to move on but I feel like I'm doing a shitty thing. Saturday when I left upset and told him I was done he called me and said he wasnt going to do this alone, sunday he kept calling me saying he wanted to talk...he loved me...missed me then it suddenly changed......but he still wants me partially in his life..........I'm so fucking confused and just feel horrible and pathetic.........please help.
You do need to move on with your life and stop allowing him to abuse you. You cant be a victim if you volunteer for it. You probably are the only one that dose care about him and its pity that keeps you coming back. You need to do whats right for you and go NO CONTACT. Tell him its over done and finished.
This man will use you up completely if you allow him too.
