Breakups & Divorce Support Group
Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.
I don't even think about other men, really, except when friends bring them up. I have no desire at this point to pursue anything with anyone. It's a fantasy I sometime indulge in, but in reality, I'm ok if it doesn't happen. I'll never ever in life be as lonely as I was while married. Never. At this point, that's awesome, as far as I'm concerned. Hang in there!
My change didn't happen over night but over time and about a year later, I finally met and, later married, my second husband. We've been married for almost twelve years now and we have a loving co-committed relationship and a good marriage. In all of this, I learned that a loving and strong marriage is possible if you're both committed and willing to do the work it takes .
It sounds like this is an opportunity for you to take time out for you; to heal, recover, and become clear with what you really want in life and in a relationship. There is a great support group called DivorceCare.org that I know to be helpful in the healing and recovery process after separation and divorce.
I hope this helped.
Blessings to you and your healing.
